Moment Journal, published by the Hacettepe University Faculty of Communication, has successfully completed the evaluation process conducted by the Scopus Content Selection & Advisory Board (CSAB) and has been accepted for inclusion in the Scopus database.
In accordance with standard Scopus procedures, upon the completion of the technical data transfer processes, the journal’s content published from 2022 onwards is anticipated to be indexed retroactively.
The evaluation report highlighted that Moment Journal possesses a clear and distinct research identity, that the published studies demonstrate a strong alignment with the journal's declared aims and scope, and that the journal has established a prominent position within its field of research through the citations it receives from other Scopus-indexed academic journals.
This significant achievement strongly aligns with the vision prioritized in Hacettepe University's 2023–2027 Strategic Plan, which focuses on strengthening its profile as a research university and enhancing its international scientific visibility. The inclusion of Moment Journal in Scopus provides a tangible contribution to the international expansion of our University's scientific output and academic impact in the fields of social sciences and humanities.
